I had the pleasure of doing a collaboration with Schön! Magazine on a small editorial in their issue 17, involving a few images from one of my personal projects, the animal portraits.

5 animals where used to symbolize 5 perfumes, designed by fashion houses Lacoste, Versace, Swarovski, Hermès & Bulgari. The magazine is out now and can be bought online here, or in a shop near you.

A big thanks goes out to Marta Tucci at Schön! and Raoul Keil, the editor in chief at Schön! Magazine. Also a big shoutout to Mette Husted, who was kind enough to do production on a few of these shoots!

Since the beginning of this year, we have been busy with a lot of exciting projects for our clients, but my animal portraits project have also been getting a great deal of attention from around the globe. It really makes me happy to hear from people all over the world telling me how much they like these images, and I have recently been able to shoot some more for the project, bringing me closer to the goal of printing a book about the series.

Some people have asked me if they can buy prints of these images. I am currently in the process of working out a solution with a partner, and I will post it here when that is finalized.

We hope that 2011 has been as good for you all, as it has been for us at the studio. This year has offered many new & interesting challenges and many new clients and friends. We look forward to work and cooperate with you again in 2012. Have a merry christmas and a happy new year!

The last week I have been playing around with the new Final Cut Pro X, and I have to say its growing on me. The new interface is so fast and intuitive. It will definitely speed up my workflow quite a bit! Looking through material to edit from is lightning fast and background rendering is almost unnoticed on a decent mac.
While playing around with FCP, I used some material I shot with with a small handheld dslr this summer, while at a shoot with my colleague Peter Ravnsborg. The result became a quick backstage video from the shoot.

Thursday the 17th of november this week, the book FRI og RIG (danish for Free & Rich) will be released for sale.

It’s a book about entrepreneurship, with insights from 12 successful danish entrepreneurs, aimed at those seeking inspiration for their own life.

I have been lucky enough to be a part of the production of the book and to meet & portray DJ Morten Breum, Jesper Buch, the founder of JustEat, Solveig Eike of Plasticfantastic, Jens Kristian Andersen of Eventdispense, Signe Møller of 100% To the Children, Christina Hembo from Christina Watches, Naja Munthe, cofounder of Muntheplussimonsen, Jesper Øhlenslæger who founded M2 Huse, Sofia Manning, artist Maria Rubinke and David Fellah from Designit.

Yesterday I saw this wonderful timelapse of the milkyway, shot from a spanish volcano, by Terje Sorgjerd from Norway. Even if you are not into timelapse or astro photography, it’s well worth your time watching it.

This week has completely overwhelmed me with the attention my animal portraits has gotten since monday morning. I was contacted via twitter by THEINSPIRATION.COM, who wanted to feature my pictures on their blog. After that, I have been featured on a number of photography and design blogs, in addition to receiving mails from all over the world about the project. A huge thank you goes out to Daniel at THEINSPIRATION.COM and my other twitter followers for making my work available for so many more than I would have ever reached on my own. In response to all the attention, I have put 4 additional shots up here. More will follow them this spring.

This weekend I am attending the spring congres for Junior Chambers International at Vingstedcentret, near the town of Vejle. Today the first part of the delegates assembly took place in one of the auditoriums and I had one of my cameras set up to make this short timelapse of the event.
